DrupalCamp Bristol is the largest gathering of Drupal experts in the southwest. We promise to deliver sessions from some of the brightest and best Drupal minds in the UK, on a wide range of topics focusing on core themes of front-end development, PHP and of course Drupal.
Hearing inspirational and thought provoking sessions isn't the only reason you should attend DrupalCamp Bristol, here are 5 top reasons to visit the UK's best city:
1. Beautiful Surroudings
DrupalCamp Bristol is set in the heart of Bristol city centre, a short walk away from Bristol’s historic harbourside. Over the 3 conference days, you’ll find plenty of time to explore all the city centre has to offer, from Bristol’s award winning attraction Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the Bristol Aquarium and At-Bristol Science Centre through to Bristol’s shopping quarter, Bristol Hippodrome, and Park Street as well as the cobbled streets and secret alleys of St Nicholas Market.
The city centre has some of the best bars and restaurants in the area including The Ox Corn Street, Pata Negra and the newly opened King Street Brew House. If you would like to sample some of Bristol’s maritime heritage, the Old Navy Volunteer, Hole in the Wall or Llandoger Trow is sure to delight you, or why not try some of Bristol’s floating bars and restaurants such as The Glassboat, The Apple Cider Boat and Three Brothers Burgers.
Don’t forget to take a picturesque stroll through Queen Square with it’s interesting architecture, listen to some live music on College Green or relax with an ice cream in Bristol’s oldest park Brandon Hill.
2. Learn from the Drupal Community
